Almond Roasted Green Beans

These almond roasted green beans make the perfect side dish for a family dinner, weekly meal prep, or potluck dish. With the holidays upon us these would compliment a holiday dinner perfectly. I roast the almond green beans in the oven to give them a slight crispy texture. The savory flavors of the salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano work perfectly to add a delicious taste without being too over powering. The green beans are roasted in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, which also make this recipe easy and requiring very little work. It is a win win honestly.

Ingredients you’ll need for Almond Roasted Green Beans:

  • 16 ounces of green beans
  • 2 tbsp. of avocado oil
  • 3 tbsp. of sliced almonds
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 1 tsp. of ground pepper
  • 2 tsp. of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. of oregano

To make the almond roasted green beans begin by rinsing and trimming the green beans. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and place the green beans out on a baking sheet. Coat the green beans with 2 tbsp. of avocado oil. Sprinkle the green beans with 1 tsp. of salt, 1 tsp. of ground pepper, 2 tsp. of garlic powder, and 1 tsp. of oregano. Evenly distribute 3 tbsp. of sliced almonds over the greens. After that, the green beans get placed in the oven for about 30 minutes or until they are fully cooked. Once the green beans are fully cooked remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy!
