The holiday season always brings a lot of family gatherings and holiday parties. It can be a joyful and wonderful season, but also gets overwhelming with all the cooking that can be involved. When it comes to potlucks I like to stick to dishes that are minimal work for me to prepare, but still incredibly delicious. These are 3 of my favorite go-to dishes that are perfect Christmas potluck ideas. There’s a salad, main entree, and dessert for whichever course you prefer.
Arugula Apple Salad

This arugula apple salad starts with an arugula base and is topped with apples and pears. For the holidays and gatherings I love to include some candied pecans on top for a little crunch. Then I top the whole salad with a balsamic dressing. For a little extra you could add some chicken or prosciutto on top too. This salad is always a hit when I bring it to gatherings! Penne Alfredo Pasta

This penne Alfredo pasta is dairy-free and full of flavor. It includes whole wheat pasta, broccoli, ground turkey, and Alfredo sauce. Pasta dishes are always a great option when considering what to bring for a potluck dish. Adding this dairy-free Alfredo option is sure to be a hit. This fluffy peanut butter dip is a flavorful and easy dessert dip to bring to any potluck gathering. It works perfectly to add to a dessert charcuterie board if you want to get a little creative with the presentation. The peanut butter dip takes 5 minutes to make. It is the perfect peanut butter dip to pair with crackers, fruit, or pretzels. Some great options for a Christmas potluck could be apples, strawberries, pretzels, pears, angel food cake, small brownies, or even cookies.
