Fall Turkey Chili

Something about a nice warm bowl of chili just seems so perfect for fall and cozy cool weather. This fall turkey chili is one of our favorite recipes for fall and winter. It is definitely a recipe that’s on repeat for us. The fall turkey chili makes great leftovers, which makes it perfect for meal prep. This recipe combines ground turkey breast, chicken bone broth, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, great northern beans, onions, and some spices. The fall turkey chili is delicious served with crackers or on top of a small bed of rice. This recipe is also great if you need a large meal to serve numerous people. It makes about 4 servings, but it can easily be multiplied to increase the number of servings.

Ingredients you will need:

  • 1 lb of ground turkey breast
  • 34 oz. of chicken bone broth
  • 10 oz. of tomato sauce
  • 15 oz. of kidney beans
  • 15 oz. of pinto beans
  • 15 oz. of great northern beans
  • 1/4 of a white onion
  • 3 tbsp. of oregano
  • 2 tbsp. of ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. of garlic powder

Begin by cooking the ground turkey breast. Add the 1 lb. of ground turkey breast to a large pot and begin cooking the ground turkey breast on medium heat until the ground turkey is fully cooked. Next, add in 34 ounces of chicken bone broth and 10 ounces of tomato sauce. Stir the contents in the pot. Drain the kidney beans, pinto beans, and great northern beans so you have just the beans. Then, add all of the kidney beans, pinto beans, and great northern beans into the large pot. Stir everything together well. Dice 1/4 of a white onion and then add the diced onion into the pot. Lastly, you will need to add 3 tbsp. of oregano, 2 tbsp. of ground pepper, and 1 tbsp. of garlic powder. Mix everything together well and allow the fall turkey chili to simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Lastly, serve as desired or distribute into containers for meal prepping.

  • Add in 34 ounces of chicken bone broth and 10 ounces of tomato sauce. Stir the contents in the pot.
  • Drain the kidney beans, pinto beans, and great northern beans and place them all into the large pot. Stir everything together well.
  • Dice 1/4 cup of white onion and then add the diced onion into the pot.
  • Lastly, add 3 tbsp. of oregano, 2 tbsp. of ground pepper, and 1 tbsp. of garlic powder.
  • Mix everything together well and allow the fall turkey chili to simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
