Maple Pecan Waffles

These maple pecan waffles make the perfect breakfast for any season. The cinnamon, maple, and pecan flavors mix together to create a deliciously sweet waffle. It almost tastes like french toast with an added crunch of the pecans when you bite into the waffle. They are absolutely delicious. These would make the perfect treat for a holiday, birthday breakfast, or even on the weekend to change things up a little. These are incredibly easy to make too with only taking about 15 minutes to cook and only require 5 ingredients. It doesn’t get much easier then that. These can easily be served by themselves or with a side of bacon, eggs, sausage, or anything else you enjoy. The possibilities are endless.

Ingredients you will need for Maple Pecan Waffles:

  • 1/2 cup of waffle mix (I used Kodiak Cake Plant Protein Mix)
  • 1 tbsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp. of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. of pecans

To make these maple pecan waffles begin by combining 1/2 cup of waffle mix and 1/2 cup of water into a mixing bowl. Mix together the waffle mix and water. Next, add 1 tbsp. of cinnamon, 1 tbsp. of maple syrup, and 2 tbsp. of pecans. Mix all the ingredients together well. Allow the waffle iron to heat up. I used a mini waffle iron and this recipe made 3 mini waffles, which would be about one regular waffle. Once the waffle iron is fully heated coat it with a little spray oil and then pour the waffle batter into the iron. Allow the waffle to fully cook and then remove. Continue to repeat this for as many waffles as you need then serve and enjoy.
