I love a good tasty Alfredo pasta. After switching to being dairy-free several years ago Alfredo sauce seemed to be completely off the table. Then I came across this dairy-free Alfredo sauce from Primal Kitchen and it was everything I could ever hope for in a dairy-free Alfredo. It’s thick, creamy, and full of flavor. This creamy penne Alfredo pasta includes whole wheat penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, and ground turkey. Best of all this easy dinner recipe can be made in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make Creamy Penne Alfredo Pasta

  • 1 jar of Primal Kitchen Dairy-free Alfredo
  • 2 cups of uncooked whole wheat pasta
  • 1 lb. of ground turkey breast
  • 2 cups of cooked broccoli florets (frozen or microwavable bag)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

How to Make Dairy-Free Alfredo Pasta

To make this recipe start by boiling a large pot of water over medium heat. Once the water has come to a boil add in the 2 cups of uncooked whole wheat pasta and 1 tbsp. of olive oil. The olive oil will help to prevent the noodles from sticking together. While the pasta is cooking begin cooking the ground turkey breast. Add 1 tbsp. of olive oil to a pan to coat it. Next, add in the 1 lb. of ground turkey breast and cook over medium heat. Break up the ground turkey breast using a spatula. Continue to move the turkey around in the pan until it is fully cooked.

Once both the pasta and ground turkey are fully cooked use a strainer to strain the water out of the pasta. Place the penne pasta back into the large pot. Add the cooked ground turkey breast to the pasta and the jar of dairy-free Alfredo sauce. Stir everything together. Add the 2 cups of cooked broccoli florets to the pasta. Stir everything together and allow it all to heat up over medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Once it is fully cooked remove from heat and serve!
